Another great day on Sandsøy with cousin visitors.

Rachel and Veronica in the photo exploring the beach below our house. This was the lowest tide today. The high tide goes all the way up to the grassy area. The largest difference between low and high tide is a little over 9 feet in our area. It makes the ramp from the cary ferry to the dock very steep! We found lots of sea cratures: crabs, little schrimp, sea urchins, sea stars, ocean eel.

Beautiful weather, but very cold. This photo is taken above the sheep farm. We had just checked out the barn and went to look at the Hereford cows. Rachel in the photo enjoying the very clean snow.

Some chose to roll down the hill in stead of walk. Gabi rolling away from everyone. Kerry on the 'right track'.

Kerry sunbathing in the snow....hehe

After returning home, we made potato lefse and Kerry proved she has Norwegian blood in her veins. She did an excellent job rolling out the dough.

Here is a stack ready to be baked.

Rachel must have someone showing her cooking in her family, because she did an excellent job cooking the potato lefse. We just used the range top burners and it worked fine. Tomorrow we'll use them for hot dog buns on our hike to the top of the mountain.
