We're still on 12/23. Time to go get the Christmas Tree. This is a view from Tone and Ola's farm, facing south. It is on the lightest time of day, about noon. The day becomes about 10 minutes longer every day. January 11th the sun officially shows half of it's beauty, so for about one hours we have sunlight. We had a few extra children with us to cut the Christmas Tree. We cut it on Ola and Tone's property and walked for about 15 min. from the farm to find one.

Here is a perfect 4ft top for us......he-he...Too many trees on Sandsøy that need to be cut.

Here is a beautiful Christmas Tree for 2008. All the decorations were home made; baskets, angels, chains and stars made of paper and beads.
